Your carrier contracts and negotiated rates. You connect the same Australia Post eParcel, StarTrack or TNT accounts to OrderOps.

Moves into OrderOps

Open orders. They appear in the OrderOps queue as soon as you connect your store, with no import.
Your boxes, sender address and carrier services, set up once during guided setup.
Picking and packing, if you used a separate app or the Starshipit Pick & Pack add-on.

Stays in Starshipit

Your past labels and shipping history. Keep read access for a while so you can look up old consignments.

The switch

Run both for a week, then switch off.

Install OrderOps from the Shopify App Store and connect your store. Your open orders appear in the queue.
Book your free guided setup. We connect your carrier accounts, set your sender address and boxes, map your Shopify shipping methods to carrier services, and pair your label printer and iPads with you.
Pack a handful of real orders in OrderOps while Starshipit keeps running. An order fulfilled in Starshipit leaves the OrderOps queue on its own.
Close your first manifests in OrderOps and check them against your carrier account.
Move the rest of the team across, then cancel the Starshipit add-ons and the plan.

Avoid switching in the week before a big sale. If you are reading this in November, book a call and we will plan the move for January.

Can I keep my carrier accounts?

Yes. You connect the same Australia Post eParcel, StarTrack or TNT accounts and your negotiated rates apply. OrderOps never marks up postage.

Will my Starshipit history come across?

No. OrderOps reads orders from Shopify, so open and recent orders are there as soon as you connect. Past labels stay in Starshipit, so keep read access for a while.

Do you have carrier rules like Starshipit?

OrderOps pre-selects the carrier service from each order’s Shopify shipping method and highlights the cheapest live quote. It has no rules engine for weight, value or destination, so if you rely heavily on rules, talk to us first.

Do you support New Zealand or other platforms?

No. OrderOps is for Shopify stores shipping with Australian carriers. If you sell on other platforms or ship from New Zealand, Starshipit covers more.

How long does it take?

Most stores are set up in a morning with our team on the call, as long as your carrier account details are to hand. If you don’t have API access for your eParcel contract yet, we will help you request it.

What does switching cost?

Nothing. Guided setup is free on every plan, including Free.
