Quickstart: first label in 30 minutes
Connect a store, pair a printer, pack one real order end to end.
This page takes you from an empty OrderOps organisation to a printed, manifested label on a real order. Budget about 30 minutes, a Mac near your label printer, and your AusPost account details on hand.
1. Connect your Shopify store
Sign in with a magic link. We email you a sign-in link, there is no password. Then install OrderOps into your store through Shopify. Each store installs separately and lands in the same organisation, so multi-store floors share one queue. Products, variants and open orders sync across. Full detail: Connect your Shopify stores.
2. Set your sender address
In shipping settings, enter the address parcels actually leave from. One address per organisation: it prints on every label and doubles as your return address. OrderOps runs a single dispatch location today, so pick the real one.
3. Connect AusPost
Enter your AusPost eParcel credentials: the API client ID, API client secret and charge account number from your eParcel account. OrderOps validates them when you save, so a bad secret fails now rather than at the pack bench, and the rates you see are your own contract rates. StarTrack, Team Global Express, TNT and DHL Express connect the same way; Aramex is still beta, and we can integrate other carriers on request. Setup detail: AusPost eParcel setup and the rest of the carrier line-up.
4. Pair OrderOps Print
Install OrderOps Print, the macOS print client. It sits in the menu bar and only listens on that Mac. Pairing is one click from the browser on the same machine, no tokens to copy. Map each label type to a printer (100 × 150 mm thermal for labels, the office printer for A4 manifests), then send a test print before trusting it with a live order. Full detail: Install the macOS print client.
5. Pack one order with live quotes
Open an order that is ready to pack. Enter box dimensions and weight. Saved variant dimensions pre-fill the first box. Live rates from your connected carriers update as the numbers change. Pick a service, add signature or authority-to-leave where the product supports it, and check the address validation result before committing. More in Live rates, signature, ATL & cover and The pack bench & keyboard shortcuts.
6. Print, then manifest at day end
Press Enter to print and move to the next order. The label comes out of the thermal printer silently, no browser dialog. Tracking goes back to Shopify as soon as the label prints, and Shopify emails your customer. At day end, printed shipments group by carrier on the manifests page: close the manifest, get the carrier's manifest number, and print the summary PDF for your driver. Detail: End-of-day manifests.
That is the whole loop. From tomorrow, your day is steps 5 and 6.
