Return labels
Create return shipments routed back to your sender address.
A return label is a shipment that runs backwards: the parcel is addressed to your sender address, on your account. Supported on AusPost, StarTrack and Team Global Express.
How it works
Returns are a per-shipment toggle. Flip it and OrderOps reverses the movement: the carrier's dedicated return products are used (AusPost has specific return product codes), and the destination becomes your organisation's sender address. No separate account, no extra setup: the same credentials and contract as outbound.
Per carrier
- AusPost: return product codes, reverse movement. Live.
- StarTrack: supported through the same platform. Live.
- Team Global Express: supported. Return shipments bill to your real TGE account code.
- Aramex, TNT and DHL Express: not yet. All three carry outbound freight only in OrderOps today. If you need returns on one of them, tell us and it goes on the list.
Getting the label to the customer
The return label is a PDF like any other. OrderOps doesn't email it to customers for you. Most merchants send the file on, or pack a printed label into the outbound carton for orders likely to come back.
Where returns land
Returns come back to the one sender address on your organisation, the same address that prints on outbound labels.
Return shipments track like any other shipment, and the usual rules apply: a return label can be voided before manifest if plans change.
