Live rates, signature, ATL & cover

OrderOps quotes your real contract rates live as you type parcel dimensions, and only offers the delivery options each product actually supports.

How quoting works

Change a dimension or the weight at the pack bench and every connected carrier re-quotes. AusPost prices the parcel per product. StarTrack quotes each product your contract authorises. Team Global Express returns its parcel services too (TGE is beta). These are your account's prices, not retail estimates.

Packaging type is part of the quote: carton or satchel. AusPost prices satchels distinctly, so pick the right one.

OrderOps sends raw dimensions — length, width, height in centimetres and weight in kilograms. Each carrier applies its own dimensional-weight formula on its side; OrderOps doesn't compute cubic weight for you.

Options gated by capability

Every quote comes back with capability flags: signature, authority to leave, maximum transit cover, dangerous goods allowed. OrderOps disables what a product can't do instead of letting it fail at label time.

Signature

AusPost: per product, gated by the quote. StarTrack: proof of delivery is fixed by your contract product — not a per-shipment decision.

Authority to leave

Supported on AusPost and StarTrack as a delivery instruction, and on Team Global Express as a shipment flag.

Safe drop

AusPost only. StarTrack rejects it, so OrderOps doesn't show it there.

Transit cover

AusPost transit cover is available up to a per-product maximum, charged as a percentage of declared value. StarTrack's transit warranty can't be set through OrderOps yet.

You pick the carrier

There is no rules engine choosing carriers for you. The packer sees live quotes side by side and picks carrier and service per shipment. The person holding the box knows things a rule doesn't.

Dangerous goods declarations and international customs follow the same gating: if the quoted product can't carry it, the option isn't offered.
